Moto Edge 50 Pro Price, Specifications, and Availability
Today, Motorola garnered attention with the release of the Moto Edge 50 Pro in India this afternoon. The phone boasts high customization, thanks to a joint venture with Pantone for a certified imaging system and screen.
The front of the Moto Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen with 1220p resolution, 10-bit color depth, support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support.
Motorola officials claim that the display of the new smartphone is verified by Pantone and meets Pantone’s evaluation and grading standards by accurately reproducing colors from Pantone’s real-world color catalog.
Furthermore, the Edge 50 Pro’s camera lenses are also certified by Pantone to ensure that the pictures captured by the device’s camera and seen on the display truly represent the broad spectrum of true human skin colors.
In terms of the camera system, the Moto Edge 50 Pro has three rear camera lenses, including a 50-megapixel f/1.4 primary camera, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto lens (30x hybrid zoom), and a 13-megapixel 120° ultra-wide-angle macro camera. There is also a main camera level sensor, which is a 50-megapixel f/1.9 with autofocus support.
Other specifications include a Snapdragon 7 Gen3 processor, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, NFC support, stereo speakers, spatial sound, and high-resolution audio. It features a 4,500mAh battery, 125W charging, 50W of wireless charging, and 10W of reverse wireless charging. Surprisingly, the base storage version comes with a 68W charger, while the higher memory version includes a 125W charger inside the box.
The Moto Edge 50 Pro will be available in India on April 9 for purchase, with the starting model of 8GB + 256GB priced at 31,999 Indian rupees, and the 12GB + 256GB model priced at 35,999 Indian rupees.
