AC Milan are expected to post yet another profit-making set of accounts for 2023-24, a report claims, and fans now anticipate this being partnered with greater ambition.
For the second consecutive financial year, as Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) reports, Milan will close the balance sheet in the black rather than the red, which is yet another sign of the continuously improving financial health of the club.
However, the management are waiting to have a stadium of their own, and that could be the definitive boost to increase the strength of the Rossoneri when it comes to fighting for the best players in the transfer window.
According to the estimates published in preview by Calcio e Finanza, the 2023-24 accounts which closed on June 30 should record a profit between €10-20m, a further improvement compared to that of the 2022-23 season.
The new agreements with the main sponsor Emirates and with the technical sponsor PUMA helped, in addition to the huge capital gain of Sandro Tonali. The turnover should be somewhere between €435-440m.
The expenses in the playing squad are increasing though, given the investments in the 2023 summer window which have resulted in a raise in the amortisation figures. This, of course, related to the fees paid out for Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze and others.
