Malaysia Airlines has this week unveiled plans to operate new flights to Male, Chiang Mai & Da Nang from Kuala Lumpur.
This announcement was part of a major press release unveiling their new partnership with Manchester United.
Within this as well was news pertinent to the seats that will be on offer onboard their Airbus A330neo aircraft.

Male, Chiang Mai & Da Nang: New Routes…
Malaysia Airlines unveiled new flight additions being Male, Chiang Mai & Da Nang.
The scheduling for this is as follows:
- Male: From August 1.
- MH485 DEP KUL 1010.
- MH484 DEP MLE 1230.
- Daily services.
- Chiang Mai: From September 24.
- MH772 DEP KUL 0950 (Mon, Fri & Sun) & DEP KUL 1150 (Thurs & Sat).
- MH773 DEP CNX 1235 (Mon, Fri & Sun) & DEP CNX 1440 (Thurs & Sat).
- Five weekly.
- Da Nang: From August 15.
- MH748 DEP KUL 0845 (Tues, Thurs & Sat) & DEP KUL 1200 (Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun).
- MH749 DEP DAD 1125 (Tues, Thurs & Sat) & DEP DAD 1440 (Mon, Wed, Fri & Sun).
- Daily services.
Flights to Male will commence on a daily basis from August 1, with Da Nang daily on September 24 & Chiang Mai five weekly from August 15.
Information on Seats for Airbus A330neo Unveiled…
Looking away from the new flights to Male, Chiang Mai & Da Nang, Malaysia Airlines also announced something else.
Information was released pertinent to the seat offerings on their upcoming Airbus A330neo aircraft.
It is understood that Recaro have been selected for the CL3810 Economy Class seats.
Malaysia Airlines also unveiled the layouts in terms of classes, which will be as follows:
- 28 in Business Class.
- 269 in Economy Class (24 of the 269 will have extra legroom).
Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, Group Managing Director of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) said the following on this:

In conclusion, Malaysia Airlines made a series of strong announcements this week.
From the new flights to Chiang Mai, Male & Da Nang, to the layouts on their Airbus A330neo aircraft, they have done it all.
