Delta is Brisbane-bound with new service from LA

Delta Air Lines is set to enhance its winter schedule with the introduction of a new seasonal route from Los Angeles to Brisbane, Australia, beginning December 4, 2024.

This strategic move reflects Delta’s ongoing commitment to expanding its presence in the South Pacific region.

Flights to the capital city of Queensland will operate three times per week through Mar. 28, 2025 with the carrier’s Airbus A350-900 widebody fleet.

A350 Los Angeles to Brisbane

Delta’s decision to introduce a seasonal route from Los Angeles to Brisbane underscores the airline’s continued network expansion in the South Pacific.

Commencing on December 4, 2024, flights will operate three times per week until March 28, 2025. This move further bolsters Delta’s network whilst also fostering cultural exchange and tourism between the United States and Australia.

With state-of-the-art amenities and a range of cabin options, including Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+, and Main Cabin, travelers can tailor their journey to suit their preferences.

From luxurious reclining seats to chef-curated meals and extensive in-flight entertainment options, Delta ensures that every passenger enjoys a comfortable and enjoyable flight.

Brisbane and Beyond

Brisbane, Australia’s vibrant capital city, offers travelers a myriad of experiences waiting to be discovered. From its world-class art galleries to scenic cycling trails and bustling food markets, Brisbane captivates visitors with its diverse attractions.

Moreover, its proximity to iconic destinations such as the Gold Coast and the Great Barrier Reef makes it an ideal starting point for unforgettable adventures.

Conversely, the route also opens doors for more Australian travelers to indulge in the glamorous allure of Hollywood in Los Angeles or to access more than 40 convenient one-stop connections to popular U.S. cities.

Delta’s Focus on the South Pacific

The US airline’s expansion into the South Pacific extends beyond its new route to Brisbane. With increased frequencies to Sydney and the introduction of flights to Auckland, New Zealand, and Tahiti, Delta is solidifying its position as a leading carrier in the region.

These investments not only cater to growing demand but also facilitate economic and cultural exchanges between the United States and the South Pacific.
