Qualcomm SM7675 and SM8635
Industry insiders have recently disclosed exciting details about Qualcomm’s upcoming smartphone application processors, codenamed SM7675 and SM8635, anticipated to join the esteemed Snapdragon 7 and Snapdragon 8 series line-up.
The SM8635, temporarily named Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, boasts a cutting-edge CPU architecture featuring one 3.01GHz Cortex-X4 core, four 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 cores, and three 1.84GHz Cortex-A520 cores, complemented by an Adreno 735 GPU.
In parallel, the SM7675, expected to target the mid-range segment, shares a similar core architecture with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 and SM8635. The Cortex-X4 cores are clocked at 2.8GHz, alongside A720 and A520 cores, coupled with an Adreno 732 GPU. Current testing indicates promising performance with frequencies of 2.8GHz for the CPU and 8xxMHz for the GPU, subject to potential adjustments during mass production.
Realme RMX3851 Benchmark
Adding to the anticipation, a mysterious Realme phone bearing model number RMX3851 has surfaced on Geekbench featuring the SM8635 processor. Impressively, the device achieved a single-core score of 1638 and a multi-core score of 3991, hinting at the prowess of Qualcomm’s latest chipset.
